About me

I have been practising yoga for over 30 years but it took time to realise it was more than just a physical practice. As well as releasing tension in my body, it clears my mind and through pranayama and relaxation techniques triggers the relaxation response/parasympathetic nervous system.

I completed my British Wheel of Yoga Teacher Training (500 hour Diploma) with Rosie Wright, she brought my awareness to the alignment and strength in a pose through teaching cues and subtle adjustments – it transformed my own practice. I use this method in my teaching today.

I have recently moved back to the UK after living in Spain for a period of time, and I am starting to re-establish my yoga classes.

During that time, I completed my training with Petra Coveney in Menopause Yoga and now teach workshops to women in all stages of the menopause.

I love teaching yoga and I love practising yoga – my time on my mat is never wasted whether it’s for 5 minutes or 90. It has shaped who I am today. I want to share this passion and inspire others on their yoga journey.
